CicLAvia was uh-MAZING!

A huge thank you to all of you fine bikey friends who visited us during CicLAvia this past Sunday! It was a perfect day that was full of smiling faces and sunshine. Another thank you has to go out to all of our fantastic Cooks and Shadows who helped with the tire pumping, shirt selling and bake sale staffing.

While the hustle bustled outside in the street, some of us were inside the Kitchen soaking in some serious cuteness & hanging out with babies of all kinds! Here are some photos of the beautiful day we all shared...

We are really excited for CicLAvia this Sunday! In addition to helping folks make basic fixes to their rides, we are going to be selling some brand new, freshly screened shirts as well as tasty baked goods for those with feet and paws!

What? Yes! It's true, we - the volunteers of the Bicycle Kitchen - are thisclose to buying a building of our very own. We promise to share more details about space itself VERY soon but rest assured, it'll nearby, bigger, badder, and more OWNED than ever before!

Do you know where we can have a square dance?

As many of you fine bike buddies may know, we are going to soon be kicking off a fundraising campaign to raise $ to buy a building with.

As part of the campaign, we are planning on having a good-ol square dance on the 28th of this month. We already have Triple Chicken Foot on board, so you know this is going to be a good time!

Thing is, we have yet to find a place to hold it. Do you know of a spot that would be free or dirt cheap where we can all get together and dance at on the 28th? If you do, please float an email to Sunday Cook kris10 at kris10erickson[at]gmail.com.
